Recently explored the Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2 Interoperability with MS Excel, this post will go through the AX 2012 export function to Excel. Where exploring how end users who used to Excel could easily extract data from DAX to Excel and be able to manipulate this data, and could add more information from DAX without technical experience.

Excel Client will Open Automatically, now you’re in Excel you can add conditional formats, build charts etc..Move to Dynamics AX Add-In in Excel ribbon, and press Filed Chooser, the available fields will open in left side, double click on the filed you need to add to the report.
