We always receive the following requirements from users who use remote options in their Microsoft Dynamics AX implementation such as Citrix, when they export any data to MS Excel it opens the Excel application which is on the server, and they requires to open it on the local machine.
Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2 offers a solution to the above requirements, where adding an option to open Microsoft Office Excel whether on Server side, or Client side.
